The Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization (CEO) at the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland will host the third annual community-wide interactive entrepreneurship event, Small Business, BIG IDEAS: Innovation in a New Direction .
The conference will be held on Saturday, April 18th, 2009, at The Universities at Shady Grove in Rockville, MD. This event features a series of hands-on workshops including interactive presentations, exercises, real world feedback, and direct access to an array of experienced entrepreneurs. This year's program will provide attendees an in-depth look at the essential aspects of starting, marketing, and expanding your own small business, as well as the role of entrepreneurship in our current economy. Workshops will cover a variety of topics, from reasons to own a franchise to the challenges of taking over a family-owned business.
The two previous entrepreneurship events attracted over 200 attendees. This year, CEO plans to increase its number of attendees with more entrepreneurs and business professionals.
