CEO / Co-Head Designer Verdette

Brian Vargas is a current student at the University of Maryland majoring in Accounting. He found his interest in fashion when a business opportunity presented itself two years ago. He partnered up with Jean Pozzi Escot (his cousin) to bring a brand of clothing into the United States called Verdette. Verdette is designed and manufactured in their company owned facility in the center of Lima, Peru. Verdette was originally sold in Peru but can now be found in New York City, Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, Florida, Texas, and California. Brian is actively engaged in managing his team of sales reps and continuously promoting the brand through fashion shows throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area. Through Brian's efforts Verdette has been worn by different artists including JaRule, Swizz Beatz and local artist Deangelo Redman from "Making the Band" fame and Latino artists and groups like Aventura, Ken-Y, and Andy Andy.

Verdette practices ethical wages with its factory workers and provides a comfortable work environment. By engaging in an underground marketing plan they are successfully taking an out of the box approach to a business that would otherwise be hard to create a name for.
